Emily and I went to the Rexburg Snowfest. It was really fun. They had snow bowling, horse sleigh rides, tubing, people jumping into an icy pool of water, and an ENORMOUS bonfire of everyone's old Christmas trees. Very cool.

On the way to the Snowfest, we saw a bald Eagle and I got some pictures of it. Very cool.

Still no baby...

Emily went to the doctor today and the doctor said he'd be very surprised if she made it to Monday before having the baby. The doc did some "thing" to her to make the baby come sooner (not induced, something else).

Emily and I went to Jackson Hole for the day. It was really fun. The pictures below are from our trip. We drove past the elk refuge and saw HUNDREDS of elk. It was really cool. Just wanted to share some pics from our trip.

We've had a great week. Yesterday Emily and I went out for a drive around Heise. It was really fun. We saw (no kidding) at least 60 deer (the above picture is proof). They were EVERYWHERE. We also saw a bald eagle today. Living in Rexburg does have a FEW perks, I guess. We're sure looking forward to somewhere new, though.

Emily substitute taught in the middle school this week. She said it went really well. She's a fantastic teacher.

We've applied to 13 law schools already and there are 3 or 4 others we're sending in applications to tomorrow. Law school is WAY expensive. Each application costs an arm and a leg! Most of the schools charge $70 per application. YIKES! Hopefully it all pays off in 3 years. We've applied to Arizona State, Ave Maria (Florida), BYU, UC-Davis (California), Case Western (Cleveland), Cleveland State, University of Connecticut, Drexel University (Philedelphia), University of Idaho, Phoenix University (Not the university of Phoenix), Quinnipiac University (Hamden, Connecticut), University of Utah, and Washburn (Kansas). Quite a few of those schools are totally random. We applied to a lot of them because they offered fee waivers for the application or we think we could get a scholarship. We just can't decide where to go. Every time we get set on a school we find out something that turns us off. No perfect fits yet.
